Um adolescente de 17 anos morreu na tarde desta quinta-feira (30) após um grave acidente na Avenida Rui Barbosa, próximo ao número 651, no trecho da Cachoeira, no bairro de São Francisco. A moto que o jovem conduzia colidiu violentamente contra um poste.
O Corpo de Bombeiros do quartel de Charitas foi acionado para atender a ocorrência, mas o adolescente já estava sem vida quando a equipe chegou ao local.
O corpo do jovem foi encaminhado para o Instituto Médico Legal (IML) do Barreto, em Niterói. A dinâmica do acidente será investigada pelas autoridades competentes.
