Alerj vota projeto que pode autorizar venda do Maracanã

O futuro do Maracanã pode ser definido ainda nesta quarta-feira (12). A Assembleia Legislativa do Rio de Janeiro (Alerj) deve votar o projeto de lei que autoriza o Governo do Estado a vender 62 imóveis públicos com o objetivo de reduzir parte da dívida com a União, que deve ultrapassar R$ 12 bilhões em 2026.

Entre os bens incluídos na proposta estão o Estádio do Maracanã, a Aldeia Maracanã e o 6º Batalhão da Polícia Militar, localizado na Tijuca. O texto integra um programa federal que permite a utilização dos recursos obtidos com as vendas para amortizar dívidas estaduais.

O líder do governo na Alerj, deputado Rodrigo Amorim (PTB), defende a medida, afirmando que os imóveis listados estão subutilizados e geram altos custos de manutenção. Segundo ele, apenas o Maracanã teria um gasto médio de R$ 1 milhão por partida realizada.

Alguns bens, no entanto, ficaram fora da lista de possíveis vendas. Entre eles estão o Complexo Esportivo Caio Martins, o terreno do Batalhão da PM no Leblon e a Escola de Música Villa-Lobos, que não poderão ser incluídos no programa de alienação.
