Criminosos são presos com 300kg de fios de cobre na Zona Sul do Rio

Operação da Polícia Militar resultou na prisão em flagrante de cinco criminosos na Glória, Zona Sul do Rio, por envolvimento em roubo de fios de cobre. A ação policial ocorreu nesta terça-feira (14), na Avenida Augusto Severo.
De acordo com informações fornecidas pelo 2° BPM (Botafogo), os suspeitos foram surpreendidos enquanto cortavam cabos da Light, que haviam sido retirados para manutenção. Ao todo, foram apreendidos cerca de 300 quilos de fios de cobre.
Os detidos foram encaminhados à 12ª Delegacia de Polícia (Copacabana) para os procedimentos legais cabíveis. A ação da polícia reforça o combate constante contra atividades criminosas que prejudicam o funcionamento e a segurança dos serviços públicos na cidade.
