Empresário é preso por envolvimento com organização criminosa em Niterói

A Polícia Civil, por meio da Delegacia de Proteção à Criança e ao Adolescente (DPCA) de Niterói, efetuou a prisão de um empresário suspeito de envolvimento com uma das maiores organizações criminosas do estado do Rio de Janeiro. A captura ocorreu no bairro de Pendotiba, situado na Região Metropolitana do Rio.

Investigações indicam que além de atividades relacionadas ao tráfico de drogas, o grupo atuava na distribuição clandestina de TV a cabo e sinal de internet na Comunidade do Cavalão, localizada na Zona Sul da cidade.

O indivíduo foi detido com base em um mandado de prisão decorrente de investigações conduzidas pela 77ª DP (Icaraí). Autoridades policiais destacam que a empresa associada ao suspeito já havia sido alvo de uma operação em março de 2021, conduzida pela 76ª DP (Centro), que desarticulou uma associação criminosa composta por traficantes e milicianos atuantes na Ilha da Conceição.
