Um grave acidente envolvendo um ônibus e uma carreta resultou em duas mortes e deixou quatro pessoas feridas na Rodovia Presidente Dutra, na altura do km 209, em Seropédica, Baixada Fluminense.

Além das vítimas em estado grave, outras 19 pessoas sofreram ferimentos leves e foram encaminhadas para o Hospital Geral de Nova Iguaçu, conhecido como Hospital da Posse. Até o momento, não foram divulgados detalhes sobre o estado de saúde dos feridos.

O Corpo de Bombeiros foi acionado por volta das 7h e mobilizou uma aeronave para apoiar as operações de resgate. A complexidade do acidente exigiu uma ação rápida para retirar as vítimas e prestar os primeiros socorros no local.

Devido ao trabalho das equipes de emergência, uma faixa da pista sentido Rio de Janeiro permaneceu interditada, o que causou lentidão no tráfego.

As autoridades ainda investigam as causas da colisão. Mais informações devem ser divulgadas ao longo do dia.
