Itaboraí: Protesto por falta d’água interdita BR-493

Moradores do bairro Itambi, em Itaboraí, bloquearam a BR-493, no trecho Magé-Manilha, Na manhã desta terça-feira (19), em protesto contra a falta de abastecimento de água na região. A manifestação interditou a pista no sentido Manilha, provocando transtornos no trânsito local.

Equipes da Polícia Rodoviária Federal (PRF) foram acionadas e estiveram no local para negociar com os manifestantes. Após diálogo, a rodovia foi liberada, mas o motivo do protesto levantou preocupações sobre os serviços de saneamento na área.

De acordo com os policiais, a principal reivindicação dos moradores é o restabelecimento do fornecimento de água, que tem sido insuficiente há dias, causando insatisfação e dificuldades para a população. Até o momento, as autoridades responsáveis pela gestão do abastecimento não se pronunciaram sobre o caso.

O protesto reflete a crescente tensão entre a comunidade e os órgãos públicos, que enfrentam cobranças por soluções para problemas básicos de infraestrutura.
