Lancha bate nas pedras do Quebra-Mar da Barra da Tijuca e mobiliza resgate

Uma lancha com 11 pessoas a bordo colidiu com as pedras do Quebra-Mar da Barra da Tijuca, na Zona Oeste do Rio de Janeiro, no início da tarde deste domingo (4). A bordo estavam 10 passageiros e o condutor.

Até o momento, não há informações sobre feridos, nem sobre a causa do acidente. No momento da colisão, o mar estava agitado e ventava bastante.

Bombeiros do 2º Grupamento Marítimo (GMar) foram acionados às 12h49 para socorrer os ocupantes. Vídeos gravados no local mostram socorristas em motos aquáticas ajudando a retirar as pessoas da lancha danificada, enquanto muitos passageiros pularam na água para se salvar.

Surfistas que estavam na Barra também participaram do resgate. A lancha, que não chegou a ficar presa nas pedras, foi empurrada repetidamente contra o cercado pelas ondas, o que danificou o casco. Eventualmente, a maré arrastou a embarcação para dentro da Lagoa da Tijuca.

As autoridades continuam investigando as circunstâncias que levaram ao acidente.
