Linhas de ônibus voltam a operar normalmente após incêndio em coletivo em Maricá

As linhas de ônibus operadas pela Empresa Pública de Transportes (EPT) em Maricá continuam funcionando normalmente neste domingo (16/06), apesar do incêndio em um dos coletivos “vermelhinhos” ocorrido na madrugada de hoje, em Maricá.

De acordo com a EPT, não houve interrupção no serviço. O ônibus incendiado pertence à Viação Nossa Senhora do Amparo, responsável pela maioria das linhas do transporte municipal de tarifa zero.

Incidente Relacionado a Protesto
O incêndio aconteceu durante um protesto na madrugada de hoje, motivado pela morte de um motoboy na última sexta-feira (14). O motorista do ônibus foi forçado a parar o veículo devido à interdição da Avenida Reginaldo Zeidan, na altura da rua 126. Durante o protesto, homens armados com pedras danificaram o coletivo e atearam fogo.

A EPT ressalta que essas ações prejudicam a coletividade, pois retiram de circulação um ônibus que é essencial para o transporte de passageiros na cidade.
