Maricá: Agressor é detido após descumprir medida protetiva

A 82ª DP (Maricá) prendeu, nesta segunda-feira (1º), um homem de 48 anos acusado de violência doméstica e descumprimento de medida protetiva. A prisão preventiva foi decretada pela Justiça após investigação conduzida pela própria unidade policial.
O caso está relacionado à Operação Shamah, deflagrada em agosto em todo o Estado do Rio de Janeiro durante o Agosto Lilás, mês dedicado à conscientização e ao enfrentamento da violência contra a mulher.
De acordo com as investigações, em julho deste ano, mesmo já estando sujeito a medidas de afastamento previstas na Lei Maria da Penha, o acusado teria invadido a residência da vítima, no bairro Itapeba. Segundo a ocorrência, ele arrombou portões e portas, agrediu fisicamente a mulher com socos, puxões de cabelo e a derrubou ao chão na frente de duas crianças pequenas. Antes de fugir, também quebrou móveis e câmeras de segurança da casa.
Na ocasião, a vítima acionou a Patrulha Maria da Penha da Guarda Municipal, que prestou atendimento imediato, mas o suspeito conseguiu escapar. O caso foi registrado, e o inquérito resultou no mandado de prisão cumprido nesta segunda-feira.
Segundo a Polícia Civil, a ação reforça os esforços integrados da instituição e da Justiça no combate à violência doméstica e na responsabilização de agressores.
