Maricá Games Jam realiza final neste sábado com premiação de R$ 37,5 mil

A Prefeitura de Maricá, por meio da Companhia de Desenvolvimento de Maricá (Codemar), promove neste sábado (12/07) a final do Maricá Games Jam, competição voltada ao desenvolvimento de jogos digitais. O evento será realizado das 9h às 15h, no Galpão Tecnológico Origem, em Inoã.

Com o tema “As aventuras de Mumbuquinha 2.0”, a disputa envolveu mais de 130 participantes, entre programadores, designers e artistas digitais. A proposta busca estimular a inovação e a diversidade no setor de jogos eletrônicos, parte integrante da economia criativa — um dos segmentos de maior crescimento no país.

Os projetos finalistas concorrem a R$ 37,5 mil em premiações, que serão distribuídas entre as equipes vencedoras.

A iniciativa integra as ações da Prefeitura para consolidar Maricá como um polo tecnológico e de incentivo à formação de profissionais na área de games, além de fomentar o empreendedorismo no setor.
