Maricá: Polícia apreende balão de 12 metros em área de mata

Policiais militares do Comando de Polícia Ambiental (CPAM) apreenderam, na quarta-feira (20), um balão de aproximadamente 12 metros de comprimento em uma área de mata na Estrada da Varginha, em Ponta Grossa, Maricá.

A ação foi realizada por agentes da 6ª Unidade de Policiamento Ambiental (UPAm), que chegaram ao local após receberem uma denúncia. Ao se aproximarem, os policiais avistaram um grupo de pessoas com o artefato, mas os suspeitos fugiram ao perceberem a presença das autoridades, deixando o balão no solo.

O balão foi recolhido e encaminhado para a 82ª Delegacia de Polícia (Maricá), onde o caso foi registrado.

A prática de soltar balões é considerada crime ambiental no Brasil, devido aos riscos de incêndios florestais e danos ao meio ambiente. A polícia reforça a importância de denúncias da população para coibir esse tipo de atividade ilícita.
