Multas de trânsito emitidas na cidade do Rio agora podem ser pagas via Pix. Essa novidade foi possibilitada após a atualização do sistema Radar, de gestão de multas, pela Serpro, empresa pública de Tecnologia da Informação do governo federal. A capital fluminense é pioneira nessa adoção.

Segundo a Secretaria Municipal de Transportes, a novidade é válida para as autuações desde maio do ano passado.

Clientes de qualquer banco podem usar o Pix para pagamento. Nesta primeira fase, a confirmação de pagamento no sistema leva até 30 minutos. Em breve, será instantânea.

Para pagar uma multa de trânsito emitida a partir de maio de 2023, siga estes passos:

1. Acesse o site https://radar.serpro.gov.br/main.html#/cidadao
2. Insira o RENAVAM e a placa do veículo.
3. Selecione a multa que deseja pagar e escolha a opção PIX ao lado dela.
4. Abra o aplicativo do seu banco e leia o QR Code exibido na tela ou copie e cole o código PIX fornecido.
