Niterói: Homem é encontrado morto em árvore após possível tentativa de furto de cabos

Um homem foi encontrado morto na noite desta terça-feira (15), preso entre fios em uma árvore na Rua Desembargador Tolêdo Piza, no bairro Vital Brazil, Zona Sul de Niterói. Segundo informações preliminares, a morte teria ocorrido durante uma suposta tentativa de furto de cabos de energia elétrica.

De acordo com o Corpo de Bombeiros, o chamado de emergência foi registrado às 22h31. Ao chegarem ao local, os agentes constataram que a vítima já estava sem sinais vitais. A identidade do homem não havia sido divulgada até o momento da publicação.

O corpo foi removido e encaminhado ao Posto Regional de Polícia Técnico-Científica (PRPTC), no bairro Barreto. A Polícia Militar informou que não foi acionada para a ocorrência.

A região onde o incidente ocorreu é predominantemente residencial e tem registrado queixas recorrentes de furtos de cabos. Além dos riscos à integridade física, esse tipo de prática compromete a segurança pública e causa prejuízos à infraestrutura de energia e comunicação da cidade.
