Operação Galho Fraco: PF investiga desvio de verba envolvendo deputados

A Polícia Federal deflagrou nesta sexta-feira (19) a Operação Galho Fraco, com o objetivo de aprofundar investigações sobre supostos desvios de recursos públicos provenientes de cotas parlamentares.

Ao todo, estão sendo cumpridos sete mandados de busca e apreensão, autorizados pelo Supremo Tribunal Federal (STF), no Distrito Federal e no estado do Rio de Janeiro.

De acordo com a PF, as apurações apontam que agentes políticos, servidores comissionados e particulares teriam atuado de forma articulada para o desvio e a ocultação de verbas públicas. A operação é um desdobramento de uma ação realizada em dezembro de 2024 e investiga possíveis práticas dos crimes de peculato, lavagem de dinheiro e organização criminosa.

Entre os alvos estão os deputados federais Sóstenes Cavalcante (PL-RJ), líder do partido na Câmara dos Deputados, e Carlos Jordy (PL-RJ). Segundo as investigações, há suspeitas de que recursos públicos teriam sido direcionados a empresas de fachada, incluindo uma locadora de veículos, com o objetivo de ocultar a origem dos valores.

A Polícia Federal informou que as investigações seguem em andamento e que novas informações poderão ser divulgadas conforme o avanço do caso.
