Operação policial na Maré combate roubo de veículos; Moradores relatam tiroteios intensos

A Polícia Militar realiza nesta terça-feira, 11, uma operação nas comunidades do Complexo da Maré para combater uma quadrilha especializada em roubo de veículos. a madrugada, moradores relatam ouvir intensos tiroteios, e muitos não conseguiram sair de casa.

A ação envolveu agentes do Batalhão de Operações Especiais (Bope), da Subsecretaria de Inteligência (SSI) e do 22° BPM, com o objetivo de prender criminosos escondidos na região. Até a última atualização, duas pessoas foram presas, ambas com envolvimento no crime. Com os suspeitos, foram apreendidos uma pistola e um rádio transmissor. Além disso, quatro veículos roubados foram recuperados.

Durante a operação, os policiais também descobriram um espaço utilizado para endolação de entorpecentes, ampliando o alcance da ação contra atividades criminosas na área.
