Polícia Civil indicia quatro pessoas por contaminação no Guandu

A Delegacia de Proteção ao Meio Ambiente (DPMA) concluiu nesta segunda-feira (03/06) a investigação sobre o lançamento indevido de poluentes nos rios da bacia do Guandu, resultando no indiciamento de quatro pessoas ligadas a uma empresa da região.

De acordo com a DPMA, a investigação apontou a responsabilidade de sócios e diretores da empresa, que atua no setor de surfactantes, produzindo sabão, lava-louças e produtos domissanitários de marcas reconhecidas no mercado. A empresa foi considerada responsável pelo lançamento de surfactantes em suas galerias de águas pluviais, conforme verificaram representantes do Instituto Estadual do Ambiente (Inea) e do Instituto de Criminalística Carlos Éboli (ICCE) em agosto do ano passado. Na ocasião, foi detectada uma espessa camada de espuma branca no Rio Guandu, indicando irregularidades ambientais.

O relatório da DPMA foi encaminhado ao Ministério Público para as devidas providências.
