Polícia Civil prende líder de facção criminosa de Mato Grosso em Niterói

Policiais civis do Departamento Geral de Polícia da Capital (DGPC), em ação coordenada pela 1ª DP (Praça Mauá), prenderam neste domingo (28) um homem identificado como líder de uma organização criminosa no Mato Grosso. Ele foi localizado na Praia de Piratininga, em Niterói, onde estava consumindo bebidas alcoólicas.

A operação ocorreu a partir de informações repassadas pela Polícia Civil mato-grossense. Natural de Cuiabá, o suspeito possui ao menos oito anotações criminais, incluindo tráfico de drogas, receptação, extorsão e organização criminosa. No momento da abordagem, apresentou documentos falsos, mas a irregularidade foi identificada pelos agentes.

Contra ele havia um mandado de prisão em aberto por tráfico de drogas. Além disso, foi autuado em flagrante pelo uso de documento falso.

De acordo com a Polícia Civil, a ação integra a estratégia de evitar que o Rio de Janeiro seja utilizado como refúgio por foragidos de outros estados.
