Na tarde de domingo (14/04), policiais civis da 41ª DP (Tanque) detiveram um homem acusado do assassinato de sua ex-companheira, Bruna Eduarda Guteres Uchoa, ocorrido em janeiro deste ano na comunidade da Covanca, em Jacarepaguá, Zona Oeste do Rio de Janeiro.
O suspeito foi capturado na residência de sua mãe, em Ananindeua, no estado do Pará, com o auxílio da Polícia Civil local. De acordo com as investigações, Bruna foi brutalmente agredida, perdeu a consciência e sufocou com seu próprio vômito, resultando em sua morte. Após o ataque, o agressor retirou os filhos do local e os levou para um lanche, sem prestar socorro à vítima. O filho de Bruna testemunhou o episódio de violência.
A polícia revelou que o feminicídio ocorreu devido ao fato de Bruna estar buscando independência ao conseguir emprego e planejar se separar, diante do comportamento agressivo do autor. Após o crime, ele fugiu para o Pará, levando consigo a filha do casal. Um mandado de prisão temporária por feminicídio foi cumprido contra ele.
