Polícias do Rio prendem oito criminosos e apreendem fuzis em operações na Zona Norte e Baixada Fluminense

Uma série de operações realizadas pelas polícias Civil e Militar na manhã desta sexta-feira (31/01) resultou na prisão de oito criminosos e na apreensão de três fuzis, drogas, rádios transmissores e oito veículos. Durante as ações, os agentes também localizaram um imóvel utilizado como área de lazer por traficantes.

“A nossa polícia está nas ruas, enfrentando o crime com inteligência e firmeza. Não vamos recuar no combate às facções criminosas e na garantia da segurança da população fluminense.” declarou o governador Cláudio Castro.

A Polícia Militar realiza uma ofensiva contra uma facção criminosa que atua nos bairros de Vigário Geral, Cordovil, Brás de Pina e Parada de Lucas. A operação mobiliza cerca de 400 policiais, com apoio de 10 blindados, e abrange as comunidades de Vigário Geral, Parada de Lucas, Cidade Alta e Guaporé. O objetivo é garantir a segurança de moradores e motoristas.

Simultaneamente, a Polícia Civil segue com a segunda fase da Operação Torniquete no Parque das Missões, em Duque de Caxias. A ação tem como foco o combate ao roubo, furto e receptação de cargas e veículos. Desde o início da operação, foram presos 348 criminosos e apreendidos 272 veículos, 69 armas e cerca de R$ 6 milhões em cargas recuperadas.
