PRF reforça fiscalização nas rodovias federais durante feriado do Dia do Trabalhador

A Polícia Rodoviária Federal (PRF) intensificará o policiamento nas rodovias federais de todo o país durante o feriado do Dia do Trabalhador, comemorado em 1º de maio. A Operação “Dia do Trabalho” será realizada a partir das 0h de quarta-feira (30) até as 23h59 de domingo (4 de maio).

No Estado do Rio de Janeiro, a ação terá foco nas principais rodovias com maior fluxo de veículos durante o período: BR-101 (nos trechos sul, entre Rio e Santos, e norte, entre Niterói e a divisa com o Espírito Santo), BR-493 (entre Manilha e Magé), além das BRs 040 e 116, que cortam a Baixada Fluminense.

A fiscalização será concentrada em trechos com maior incidência de acidentes, com atenção especial ao combate ao excesso de velocidade e à condução sob efeito de álcool.

Paralelamente, a PRF também promoverá ações educativas voltadas à conscientização de motoristas e passageiros, com foco na segurança viária.
