Receita Federal apreende R$ 3 milhões em cocaína no Galeão

A Receita Federal apreendeu, nesta quarta-feira (10), cerca de 51 kg de cocaína em uma “caixa misteriosa” no Aeroporto do Galeão, localizado na Ilha do Governador, Zona Norte do Rio. A droga, avaliada em R$ 3 milhões, foi encontrada no terminal de cargas domésticas.

A caixa sem identificação continha duas malas, cada uma com duas mochilas recheadas com 46 tabletes de cocaína. O narcoteste realizado na substância confirmou a presença da droga.

A operação contou com o auxílio dos cães de faro Kavalo e Dax, da Divisão de Vigilância e Repressão ao Contrabando e Descaminho da Receita Federal na 7ª Região Fiscal (RJ/ES), que foram fundamentais na identificação da substância ilícita.
