O Réveillon da hotelaria carioca foi de casa cheia: os hotéis registraram 87,13% de média de ocupação na noite do dia 31 de dezembro de 2023 para o dia 1º de janeiro de 2024. O número foi apurado pelo Sindicato dos Meios de Hospedagem do Município do Rio de Janeiro (HotéisRIO) e confirmou o ótimo desempenho que o setor esperava nesta virada.
As regiões mais procuradas pelos turistas foram Ipanema/Leblon (95%), Barra da Tijuca/Recreio/Jacarepaguá (89%) e Leme/Copacabana (88%), seguidas de Flamengo/Botafogo (84%) e Centro (79%).
Para o presidente do HotéisRIO, Alfredo Lopes, a união de autoridades do Poder Público com o setor privado é o segredo do sucesso da festa carioca. “Segurança e organização são componentes essenciais para conseguir atrair turistas e realizar uma festa espetacular, à altura das expectativas de cariocas e visitantes”.
