Rio atinge 40,8°C e segue em nível 3

A cidade do Rio de Janeiro registrou 40,8°C às 15h desta segunda-feira (12), segundo dados do Instituto Nacional de Meteorologia (Inmet). A medição foi realizada na estação da Vila Militar, na Zona Oeste da capital.

Com o registro, esta segunda-feira é considerada, até o momento, o dia mais quente do verão. A última marca semelhante havia sido registrada em fevereiro de 2025, quando os termômetros chegaram a 41°C.

O município permanece no terceiro nível do Protocolo de Calor, que é acionado quando as temperaturas variam entre 36°C e 40°C, com previsão de manutenção ou elevação por pelo menos três dias consecutivos.

Diante das condições climáticas, as autoridades recomendam reforçar a ingestão de líquidos, evitar exposição prolongada ao sol nos horários de maior calor e adotar cuidados adicionais com a saúde.
