Rio: Contran anuncia novas regras para pedágio eletrônico no sistema ‘Free Flow’

O Conselho Nacional de Trânsito (Contran) aprovou, nesta segunda-feira (14), a Resolução nº 1013/2024, que traz mudanças importantes para o sistema de pedágio eletrônico em rodovias, conhecido como “free flow”. As novas regras visam aprimorar o funcionamento do modelo, que permite a cobrança sem a necessidade de barreiras físicas, garantindo mais comodidade aos motoristas.

Entre as principais mudanças, está a ampliação do prazo para pagamento do pedágio, que passa de 15 para 30 dias após o veículo cruzar a área monitorada. Além disso, os motoristas terão o direito de contestar cobranças que considerarem indevidas, oferecendo mais transparência e segurança aos usuários.

A resolução também estabelece a instalação de novas placas e símbolos ao longo das rodovias para melhor orientar os condutores, e determina que as imagens dos veículos capturadas pelos sensores do sistema sejam armazenadas por 90 dias, o que permitirá uma verificação mais detalhada em caso de questionamentos.

Outra novidade é que as concessionárias terão até 180 dias para integrar as informações de cobrança ao aplicativo da Carteira Digital de Trânsito (CDT), onde será possível acessar o link para pagamento do pedágio de forma centralizada.

As mudanças buscam modernizar e facilitar o uso do sistema de pedágio eletrônico, garantindo maior praticidade e segurança aos motoristas que trafegam pelas rodovias do país.

“Isso vai simplificar a vida do cidadão. Hoje, a grande reclamação é que [usuário final] passa e não sabe bem onde tem que pagar. Agora, tudo vai estar totalmente centralizado: a informação da passagem e o local para pagamento”, explicou o secretário Nacional de Trânsito do Ministério dos Transportes, Adrualdo Catão.

O free flow é um pedágio automático, sem necessidade de qualquer parada nas cabines para o pagamento da tarifa.
