Rio: Menina de 2 anos é baleada na cabeça em Pilares; estado é grave

Uma menina de dois anos foi vítima de bala perdida na noite deste domingo (26), enquanto estava dentro de um ônibus na Avenida João Ribeiro, em Pilares, zona Norte do Rio de Janeiro. Identificada como Mirella Pinho, a criança foi atingida na cabeça e inicialmente socorrida no Hospital Municipal Salgado Filho, no Méier. Posteriormente, Mirella foi transferida para o Hospital Municipal Souza Aguiar, onde passou por cirurgia. Seu estado de saúde é grave, mas estável.

Segundo informações da Polícia Militar, agentes do 3º BPM foram acionados para verificar a entrada da vítima na unidade hospitalar. A mãe de Mirella relatou que o disparo aconteceu enquanto estavam no coletivo. A PM confirmou que não havia operações policiais em andamento na região no momento do incidente.

O caso está sob investigação da 23ª DP (Méier), que busca identificar os responsáveis pelo disparo.

De acordo com o Instituto Fogo Cruzado, este é o primeiro caso de criança baleada na região metropolitana do Rio de Janeiro em 2025. O episódio reacende o alerta para a violência armada que afeta a população, especialmente em áreas urbanas densamente habitadas.
