Rio: PM é baleado durante operação na comunidade da Tijuquinha

Um policial militar foi baleado durante um confronto armado na comunidade da Tijuquinha, no bairro do Itanhangá, Zona Oeste do Rio de Janeiro, na madrugada desta terça-feira (29). A ação ocorreu durante um patrulhamento do Batalhão de Choque da Polícia Militar.

De acordo com a Secretaria de Estado da Polícia Militar, os agentes foram recebidos a tiros por criminosos armados, o que deu início a um tiroteio. Um dos policiais foi atingido no braço e socorrido inicialmente ao Hospital Municipal Lourenço Jorge, na Barra da Tijuca. Posteriormente, ele foi transferido para o Hospital Central da Polícia Militar (HCPM), no Estácio, e seu estado de saúde é considerado estável.

Moradores relataram momentos de tensão durante a madrugada, devido à intensidade dos disparos na região. A corporação não informou se houve prisões ou apreensões durante a operação. A ocorrência está sendo investigada.

Com esse caso, segundo levantamento do Instituto Fogo Cruzado, sobe para 45 o número de agentes de segurança baleados na Região Metropolitana do Rio em 2025. Do total, 26 morreram e 19 ficaram feridos. Entre os atingidos, 30 eram policiais militares — com 17 óbitos confirmados e 13 feridos.
