Rio: Polícia Civil prende líder de quadrilha de tráfico internacional de drogas

Policiais civis da 52ª DP (Nova Iguaçu) prenderam nesta quarta-feira (13) o homem apontado como líder de uma quadrilha especializada no tráfico internacional e interestadual de drogas. Ele foi encontrado e detido em um hotel na Barra da Tijuca, Zona Oeste do Rio de Janeiro, como parte da “Operação Petrolina I”.

A prisão é um desdobramento de investigações que já haviam resultado, na última segunda-feira (11), na apreensão de um traficante transportando cerca de 14 kg de skunk, droga avaliada em aproximadamente R$ 150 mil. A carga foi interceptada no Arco Metropolitano, em Duque de Caxias, e teria saído de Pernambuco com destino ao Rio de Janeiro.

O homem capturado nesta quarta possui uma extensa ficha criminal, incluindo uma prisão por extorsão em Fernando de Noronha no ano passado. Ele já vinha sendo investigado por envolvimento em tráfico internacional de entorpecentes.
