RJ: Chefe do tráfico é morto em operação policial no Complexo da Mangueirinha

Willian Sérgio Gomes da Silva, conhecido como WL, morreu na madrugada deste sábado (27) após ser baleado em uma operação da Polícia Militar no Complexo da Mangueirinha, localizado em Duque de Caxias, na Baixada Fluminense. WL, apontado pela polícia como chefe do Morro do Sapo, que integra o Complexo, foi o quinto homem a falecer em decorrência do confronto.

A operação, conduzida por policiais do 15º BPM (Duque de Caxias), tinha como objetivo conter o tráfico de drogas e disputas territoriais na região. O confronto, ocorrido na sexta-feira (26), resultou na morte imediata de quatro homens, identificados como seguranças de WL.

Willian Sérgio, de 32 anos, possuía três anotações criminais e estava no comando do Morro do Sapo. Durante o confronto, ele foi atingido por tiros na barriga. WL passou por cirurgia e foi entubado, mas seu estado era gravíssimo. Ele veio a óbito às 1h40 deste sábado.

A operação resultou na apreensão de dois fuzis, duas pistolas, um rádio de comunicação e uma quantidade significativa de drogas.
