RJ: Mais uma cidade passa a ter ônibus tarifa zero; confira!

A cidade de Japeri, na Baixada Fluminense, iniciou nesta segunda-feira (6) a operação do programa Tarifa Zero, que garante transporte público gratuito para os moradores. A medida, que atende a uma antiga demanda da população, foi lançada pela prefeitura com o objetivo de facilitar o deslocamento interno dos usuários sem custo algum.

Inicialmente, três linhas operadas por ônibus da frota municipal foram incluídas no programa: Santa Amélia x Engenheiro Pedreira (via Delamare), Santa Amélia x Engenheiro Pedreira (via Alecrim), e Santa Amélia x Vila Central. Os veículos são identificados com a identidade visual do programa e já circulam com acesso livre — sem cobrança de passagem.

Segundo a prefeitura, a gratuidade no transporte é parte de um projeto maior para garantir mobilidade urbana e promover a inclusão social, permitindo que os moradores acessem serviços de saúde, educação e oportunidades de trabalho com mais facilidade.

Com essa iniciativa, Japeri se junta a outros municípios do estado que também implementaram políticas de Tarifa Zero nos últimos anos. A gestão municipal promete monitorar os resultados e ampliar gradualmente o programa para outras regiões da cidade.
