O Governo do Estado do Rio de Janeiro, por meio da Polícia Civil, realiza, nesta terça-feira (05/08), a “Operação Rede Obscura”, contra a exploração clandestina do serviço de internet na Zona Norte do Rio e Baixada Fluminense. São cumpridos 17 mandados de busca e apreensão pela Delegacia de Defesa dos Serviços Delegados (DDSD), com apoio do DGPE, Core e 38ª DP.
-Não vamos tolerar que organizações criminosas controlem serviços essenciais à população para financiar atividades ilícitas. A investigação demonstrou que essas facções não apenas exploram de forma clandestina, mas também utilizam criminosos armados para impedir a atuação de operadoras licenciadas e para danificar a infraestrutura de rede – afirmou o governador.
Até o momento, a ação resultou na apreensão de um fuzil, duas pistolas, dinheiro, equipamentos eletrônicos e cabos. Duas pessoas foram conduzidas à delegacia.
A operação é um desdobramento de investigação em andamento, que teve início a partir da análise de dados técnicos e relatos encaminhados à especializada pelo Disque-Denúncia. Foi identificada uma empresa vinculada à maior facção do estado, atuante no Morro do Quitungo, e outra ligada a um grupo diferente, com presença em Cordovil, Cidade Alta e adjacências.
As investigações apontam que ambas operavam com apoio de criminosos armados, impedindo o acesso de operadoras licenciadas e danificando redes técnicas. No Quitungo, foram constatados postos de vigilância e restrição à mobilidade institucional.
O material apreendido será analisado pelo setor de inteligência para subsidiar novas diligências e responsabilizar os envolvidos.
