Sequestro de ônibus gera tensão na Zona Norte do Rio

Dois ônibus foram sequestrados nas proximidades do Centro Universitário Celso Lisboa, em Engenho Novo, Zona Norte do Rio de Janeiro. Os veículos, que operavam nas linhas 239 (Água Santa x Castelo) e 383 (Realengo x Praça da República), foram utilizados como barricadas na Avenida Marechal Rondon, bloqueando a passagem e gerando transtornos na região.

Em nota, a concessionária Rio Ônibus enfatizou que em 2025, seis ônibus já foram sequestrados e reiterou o apelo às autoridades de segurança pública no Rio. “É preciso, com urgência, garantir o direito de ir e vir do cidadão”, afirmou o comunicado

Segundo a Polícia Militar, criminosos tentaram obstruir vias em diferentes pontos da região. No entanto, todas foram liberadas após a ação dos agentes. Um homem foi detido e conduzido à 25ª DP (Engenho Novo), ateando fogo em objetos nas ruas.
