São Gonçalo: Avenida Presidente Kennedy recebe pavimentação do Projeto MUVI

Um trecho da Avenida Presidente Kennedy, localizado entre a Rua Monteiro Lobato e a Avenida São Miguel, no bairro Estrela do Norte, em São Gonçalo, foi pavimentado nesta quarta-feira (9). A intervenção integra o trecho 4 do Projeto Mobilidade Urbana Verde Integrada (MUVI).

O MUVI é uma iniciativa conjunta da Prefeitura de São Gonçalo com o Governo do Estado do Rio de Janeiro, coordenada pela Secretaria das Cidades. O projeto prevê a implantação de um corredor viário com cerca de 18 km de extensão, ligando os bairros de Neves e Guaxindiba, passando por regiões como Estrela do Norte, Trindade e Jardim Catarina.

As obras seguem em andamento também nos trechos 3, 5 e 6. O projeto inclui a requalificação completa da via, com implantação de nova drenagem, construção de calçadas, ciclovias, pistas preferenciais para ônibus, pavimentação e ações de paisagismo.

A execução está sob responsabilidade da Secretaria Municipal de Gestão Integrada e Projetos Especiais (Semgipe). Segundo a administração municipal, o objetivo é promover melhorias na mobilidade urbana e na qualidade de vida de motoristas e pedestres.
