São Gonçalo: Mulher é presa acusada de torturar a própria filha

Policiais da Delegacia Especializada de Atendimento à Mulher (DEAM) de São Gonçalo prenderam, nesta sexta-feira (12), uma mulher de 35 anos acusada de torturar a filha de 9 anos. A ação ocorreu na Travessa São Luiz, na Comunidade do Serrão, em Niterói, em cumprimento a um mandado expedido pelo Juizado de Violência Doméstica e Familiar de São Gonçalo.

De acordo com as investigações, em 24 de agosto deste ano, após a filha reclamar de fome e manusear corantes de sua propriedade, a mulher teria aquecido ovos até o ponto de fervura e obrigado a criança a segurá-los com as mãos, provocando queimaduras graves.

A acusada, identificada como Geyse Coelho Alves de Souza, responderá pelo crime previsto na Lei de Tortura (Lei 9.455/97). A prisão foi coordenada pela delegada Ana Carla Rodrigues Moura Nepomuceno, titular da DEAM de São Gonçalo, com apoio do Grupo de Investigação Continuada (GIC).

A mulher foi encaminhada à unidade policial e permanecerá à disposição da Justiça.
