São Gonçalo: Polícia prende suspeito pela morte de motorista de aplicativo

Agentes da Delegacia de Homicídios de Niterói, São Gonçalo e Itaboraí (DHNSGI) prenderam, nesta sexta-feira (17), um traficante suspeito de envolvimento no assassinato do motorista de aplicativo José Paulo dos Santos, de 58 anos. O crime ocorreu em julho de 2024, na Favela do Pombal, localizada no bairro Porto Novo, em São Gonçalo, Região Metropolitana do Rio de Janeiro.

De acordo com as investigações, José Paulo foi espancado até a morte por traficantes da comunidade. O motivo seria um desentendimento com uma passageira, identificada como Kaylane dos Santos Andrade, que era namorada de um dos criminosos. O motorista teria solicitado que ela desembarcasse fora da comunidade, o que gerou sua reclamação aos traficantes locais, culminando na agressão fatal.

O suspeito preso é apontado como integrante do tráfico de drogas da Favela do Pombal e foi autuado por homicídio qualificado. Kaylane e seu namorado, Juan Vinícius de Paula Pereira, foram detidos em agosto de 2024 e também respondem pelo crime.
