São Gonçalo: Vazamento de água deixa seis bairros sem abastecimento

Moradores e comerciantes de seis bairros de São Gonçalo enfrentam dificuldades no abastecimento de água devido a um grande vazamento na rede da concessionária Águas do Rio. O problema foi identificado na Rua Diniz Raffet, no bairro Coelho, próximo ao CIEP, e interrompeu o fornecimento de água tratada desde sábado (16).

As áreas afetadas incluem os bairros Coelho, Almerinda, Jóquei, Amendoeira e Jardim Nova República. Segundo relatos, a falta d’água tem prejudicado o comércio local, com algumas lojas permanecendo fechadas nesta segunda-feira (19).

A concessionária informou que equipes estão trabalhando no reparo do vazamento e que o serviço deve ser concluído ainda hoje. O abastecimento, no entanto, será normalizado gradativamente após o término dos trabalhos.

Para minimizar os impactos, a Águas do Rio orienta os moradores a utilizarem a água de cisternas e caixas d’água com prioridade para atividades essenciais e a postergarem tarefas que demandem maior consumo.
