Traficantes bloqueiam rua em São Gonçalo com três ônibus durante operação policial

A manhã desta segunda-feira (15) foi marcada por uma ação criminosa no bairro Pita, em São Gonçalo, quando traficantes utilizaram pelo menos três ônibus de diferentes viações para bloquear a Rua Doutor Pio Borges. O ato ocorreu em retaliação a uma operação conduzida pelo 7º Batalhão da Polícia Militar (BPM), que resultou em confronto na região.

De acordo com a corporação, policiais atuavam desde as primeiras horas do dia nas comunidades do Engenho Pequeno, Castro e Zumbi. Durante patrulhamento em área de mata, equipes foram atacadas e houve troca de tiros. Na ação, três suspeitos foram presos e três fuzis foram apreendidos.

Como resposta, criminosos atravessaram os ônibus para impedir o avanço dos agentes, interrompendo totalmente o tráfego e afetando motoristas e moradores da região. O bloqueio já foi removido, e as vias liberadas.

O episódio reforça os desafios de segurança pública no município, onde a atuação de facções criminosas ainda impõe riscos e limitações à rotina da população.
