Avenida Brasil é liberada três horas após acidente em Cordovil

A Avenida Brasil foi totalmente liberada no fim da tarde desta terça-feira (2), cerca de três horas após o tombamento de um caminhão de carga na altura do Trevo das Missões, em Cordovil, Zona Norte do Rio. O acidente ocorreu por volta das 13h e ocupou uma faixa da pista lateral no sentido Centro, que dá acesso à Rodovia Washington Luiz.
De acordo com o Corpo de Bombeiros, não houve vítimas. Agentes do quartel da Penha foram acionados às 13h10 para atuar na ocorrência.
Após a retirada do veículo, foi necessário realizar o trabalho de remoção da carga espalhada na via. A ação contou com apoio da CET-Rio e da Polícia Militar.
Apesar da liberação, o trânsito permanecia intenso no trecho durante o fim da tarde.
