Criança é atingida por bala perdida dentro de escola na Zona Oeste do Rio

Um menino de 7 anos foi ferido por um disparo de arma de fogo na tarde desta quinta-feira (14) dentro da Escola Municipal Professora Marisa Vargas Menezes, em Rio das Pedras, Zona Oeste do Rio de Janeiro.

De acordo com a Secretaria Municipal de Educação (SME), o incidente ocorreu durante uma aula de educação física. No momento do disparo, não havia registro de operação policial ou confronto na região.

A criança foi socorrida por representantes da SME e levada ao Hospital Municipal Lourenço Jorge, na Barra da Tijuca, onde recebeu atendimento médico e recebeu alta posteriormente.

A Polícia Militar informou que não foi acionada para a ocorrência.

Em nota, a Prefeitura do Rio lamentou “que episódios de violência como este impactem as escolas, que deveriam ser locais de paz e aprendizagem”.
