A partir de agora, moradores do estado do Rio de Janeiro poderão receber em casa documentos como identidade, carteira de habilitação e licenciamento de veículos. A novidade foi oficializada nesta segunda-feira (05) com a sanção da Lei 10.763/25, autorizando o Detran-RJ a oferecer o serviço de entrega domiciliar de forma gratuita.
A medida, segundo o governador Cláudio Castro, deve facilitar o acesso da população aos serviços do departamento, especialmente para quem tem dificuldades de locomoção. “Essa é uma mudança que mexe na vida da mãe, do trabalhador que não tem mais que sair de casa ou do trabalho para ir ao Detran. Esse é um serviço que vai virar referência. É mais uma medida que desburocratiza e facilita o dia a dia do cidadão, além de desafogar os postos de atendimento”, declarou.
O projeto foi apresentado pelo deputado estadual Vinicius Cozzolino e aprovado pela Alerj em abril. Agora, o Detran-RJ trabalha para firmar uma parceria com os Correios, que serão os responsáveis pelas entregas. A estatal atende aos requisitos da Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados (LGPD), o que garante sigilo e segurança no envio.
De acordo com o presidente do Detran-RJ, Vinicius Farah, a ideia é oferecer mais comodidade, principalmente a idosos e pessoas com deficiência. “Estamos criando parcerias, buscando ferramentas e projetos que possam fazer o Detran RJ um modelo nacional. Um modelo que agilize o processo e dê dignidade ao cidadão. Nós vamos garantir a entrega de todos os documentos na residência de cada um dos cidadãos, gratuitamente. É opcional, a pessoa pode optar por ir lá retirar o documento ou receber o documento em casa sem custo”, explicou.
Com a nova lei, poderão ser enviados documentos como a Carteira Nacional de Habilitação (CNH), Permissão para Dirigir (PPD), Permissão Internacional (PID), Registro Geral (RG) e a carteira funcional da SEAP.
