Eduardo Paes anuncia show do U2 na Praia de Copacabana em 2026

O prefeito do Rio de Janeiro, Eduardo Paes, anunciou nesta quinta-feira (24) que a banda irlandesa U2 será a principal atração do evento “Todo Mundo no Rio em 2026”. O show está previsto para acontecer em maio, na Praia de Copacabana, zona sul da capital fluminense.

O anúncio foi feito durante a apresentação do evento Rio de Janeiro a Janeiro, realizada no Roxy Dinner Show, que teve como objetivo divulgar o calendário oficial de eventos da cidade para 2025 e os preparativos para os anos seguintes.

A vinda do U2 faz parte da estratégia da Prefeitura do Rio de reforçar o calendário cultural e turístico da cidade, atraindo grandes nomes da música internacional para eventos ao ar livre e gratuitos em espaços públicos.
