Governo do Rio divulga calendário de pagamento do IPVA 2024, confira as datas

O Governo do Estado divulgou, nesta segunda-feira (18/12), por meio de resolução da Secretaria de Fazenda, o calendário de pagamento do Imposto sobre a Propriedade de Veículos Automotores (IPVA) de 2024. O tributo poderá ser pago à vista, com desconto de 3%, ou dividido em três cotas mensais iguais, pelo valor integral. O abatimento foi concedido por decreto assinado pelo governador Cláudio Castro e também publicado nesta segunda-feira.

Os pagamentos começam em 22 de janeiro, quando vencem a cota única e a primeira parcela dos veículos com placa terminada em zero. Para quitar o tributo, o passo inicial será imprimir a Guia de Recolhimento de Débitos (GRD), que estará disponível no Portal do IPVA da Sefaz-RJ (portal.fazenda.rj.gov.br/ipva) ou no site do banco Bradesco (www.bradesco.com.br). Basta informar os números do Registro Nacional de Veículos Automotores (Renavam) e do CPF ou CNPJ do proprietário. A GRD pode ser paga em qualquer banco.

O valor do imposto é calculado por meio da aplicação das alíquotas estabelecidas em lei (4% para carros flex, 2% para motos, 1,5% para carros movidos a GNV e 0,5% para veículos movidos exclusivamente a energia elétrica) sobre os valores venais (preços de mercado) dos veículos, calculados pela Fundação Instituto de Pesquisas Econômicas (Fipe). Além da emissão da GRD, o Portal do IPVA traz diversos outros serviços e informações sobre o tributo.
