Itaguaí: centenas de uniformes permanecem em galpão sob investigação

Uniformes escolares adquiridos durante a gestão interina da Prefeitura de Itaguaí, entre janeiro e junho deste ano, ainda não foram entregues aos alunos da rede municipal.
Vereadores da Comissão de Educação da Câmara visitaram um galpão no bairro Mont Serrat e encontraram centenas de embalagens contendo peças novas. O material foi comprado durante a administração de Haroldo de Jesus, o Haroldinho (PDT), então prefeito interino e atual presidente da Câmara.
A empresa CB News Comercial, responsável pelo fornecimento, solicitou o cancelamento do contrato em 23 de junho, primeiro dia útil da gestão do prefeito Rubem Vieira, alegando impossibilidade de realizar as entregas devido a custos de frete e logística.
Em nota, a Prefeitura informou que os uniformes estão armazenados em galpão monitorado por câmeras e que o lote integra um processo de investigação sobre possível fraude em licitação assinada em 30 de abril, ainda na gestão interina. O estoque inclui 3.246 camisas, 2.350 calças, 3.600 bermudas e 1.500 pares de tênis.
A administração municipal também apontou irregularidades nos kits e ausência de nota fiscal, o que impediu a quitação do contrato. Os itens correspondem a apenas 8,46% da necessidade da rede, que atende mais de 20 mil estudantes.
A Prefeitura reforçou que não há intenção de trocar logotipos e destacou que, ao assumir em 18 de junho, os uniformes referentes ao ano letivo de 2025 ainda não haviam sido entregues pela gestão interina, responsável pelo período de 1º de janeiro a 16 de junho.
