A Cedae iniciou nesta semana a instalação de válvulas de manobra automatizadas que devem melhorar o fornecimento de água para moradores de Maricá e São Gonçalo. Os equipamentos fazem parte de um sistema inteligente que permite o controle à distância do fluxo hídrico, reduzindo o tempo de resposta em situações emergenciais e otimizando a distribuição.
Segundo a companhia, os dispositivos estão sendo instalados em pontos estratégicos da Adutora Imunana-Laranjal, que atende diretamente os dois municípios. O investimento é parte do programa de modernização da infraestrutura hídrica da empresa, com foco na melhoria da eficiência operacional.
Além de facilitar o gerenciamento da rede, as novas válvulas vão permitir intervenções mais rápidas em casos de manutenção ou ajustes na pressão, minimizando interrupções no abastecimento. A expectativa é de que os primeiros resultados já comecem a ser percebidos pela população nas próximas semanas.
A ação integra o compromisso da Cedae com a qualidade dos serviços prestados e busca atender à crescente demanda por água em áreas em expansão urbana, como é o caso de Maricá, uma das cidades que mais crescem no estado do Rio.
