A Operação Desmonte, do Governo do Estado, encontrou quatro automóveis, três motores de carros e uma caixa de marcha roubados, na manhã desta terça-feira (30/4), em um ferro-velho e em uma loja de peças de Bangu, na Zona Oeste do Rio. Foram encontrados também pedaços de chassis recortados, placas de veículos e várias peças sem procedência.
O ferro-velho funcionava, sem qualquer identificação, na esquina das estradas Porto Nacional e da Água Branca. Parte do material apreendido foi encontrado numa loja de venda de peças em frente ao depósito. O dono da loja, apesar de estar com a chave do ferro-velho, nega que seja dono do estabelecimento. Ele foi conduzido à 33ª Delegacia de Polícia (Realengo). Os agentes da força-tarefa interditaram a loja e o depósito.
“Desde agosto do ano passado, já realizamos 12 ações de fiscalização planejadas e norteadas com informações do serviço de inteligência da força-tarefa. Ao todo, cerca de 500 toneladas de sucatas foram apreendidas e destruídas. Para operar regularmente no Estado do Rio, os ferros-velhos precisam se credenciar no Detran”, destaca o presidente do Detran.RJ, Glaucio Paz.
Criada para combater o comércio irregular de peças e carcaças de veículos e reduzir o roubo e o furto de automóveis no Estado do Rio, a força-tarefa é coordenada pelo Detran tem a participação das polícias Civil e Militar, do Instituto Estadual do Ambiente (Inea) e da Secretaria de Fazenda.
Também na manhã desta terça-feira (30), os agentes interditaram outro ferro-velho, em Realengo, por falta de documentação para funcionar.
