Operação policial na Vila Kennedy causa interdições na Avenida Brasil e suspensão de serviços públicos

A Polícia Militar realizou, na manhã desta quarta-feira (24), uma operação na comunidade da Vila Kennedy, na Zona Oeste do Rio de Janeiro. De acordo com informações divulgadas pela corporação, a ação contou com equipes do 14º BPM (Bangu), do Comando de Operações Especiais (COE) e da Subsecretaria de Inteligência (SSI), em caráter considerado “emergencial”.

Durante a operação, um homem ficou ferido e foi encaminhado a um hospital da região. A PM informou também a prisão de quatro suspeitos. Imagens registraram um veículo transportando uma pessoa que estaria morta, porém a Polícia Militar não confirmou oficialmente o caso.

Em reação à ação policial, criminosos tentaram bloquear a pista sentido Centro da Avenida Brasil em diferentes momentos da manhã. O policiamento foi reforçado no trecho afetado.

A operação impactou serviços públicos na região: 14 escolas da rede municipal suspenderam as aulas, enquanto duas unidades de saúde fecharam temporariamente. Uma terceira unidade manteve o funcionamento interno, mas suspendeu atividades externas, como visitas domiciliares.

Segundo balanço da Polícia Militar, cerca de 12 toneladas de materiais foram removidas das ruas e seis pontos de barricadas foram desmontados durante a ação.
