Polícia Militar realiza operação em Itaboraí após morte de sargento

Equipes do 35º BPM (Itaboraí), com apoio do 7º BPM (São Gonçalo), do 12º BPM (Niterói) e do Batalhão de Ações com Cães (BAC), realizaram na manhã desta sexta-feira (7) uma operação na comunidade da Reta Velha, em Itaboraí. A ação tem como objetivo localizar suspeitos de envolvimento na morte do sargento Flávio dos Santos Duarte Teixeira, lotado no 35º BPM.

O corpo do policial foi encontrado na manhã de quarta-feira (5) no km 265 da BR-101, em Rio Bonito, próximo ao bairro Manguerinha e à UPA da região. De acordo com as primeiras informações, o sargento foi atingido por disparos de arma de fogo enquanto estava dentro de um veículo que se acidentou às margens da rodovia. 

Segundo a Polícia Militar, o agente havia deixado o serviço momentos antes do crime e teria sido seguido por criminosos. O caso está sendo investigado pelas autoridades competentes. Durante a operação desta sexta-feira, foram apreendidos um fuzil mosquetão calibre 7,62, uma espingarda calibre 12, entorpecentes e trajes camuflados. Dois suspeitos foram feridos durante o confronto e socorridos em seguida.
