Polícia realiza megaoperação contra tráfico de drogas no Rio de Janeiro e mais quatro estados

A Polícia Civil deflagrou na manhã desta quarta-feira (19), uma megaoperação contra o tráfico de drogas em cinco estados brasileiros: Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Minas Gerais, Santa Catarina e Paraná. A ação tem como alvo integrantes de uma quadrilha especializada no transporte de entorpecentes entre o Rio de Janeiro e o Paraná.

Ao todo, foram cumpridos 92 mandados, sendo 11 de prisão, em diversos endereços localizados principalmente na Zona Norte do Rio de Janeiro. Equipes táticas da Coordenadoria de Recursos Especiais (CORE) estão participando da operação, que concentra buscas especialmente no Complexo do Lins e na região do Grajaú, no Rio de Janeiro.

De acordo com as autoridades, a megaoperação visa desmantelar uma organização criminosa que atua de forma estratégica no tráfico de drogas, promovendo o transporte ilegal de entorpecentes entre os estados envolvidos.

A Polícia Civil alerta os moradores das áreas afetadas a redobrarem a atenção devido à possibilidade de confrontos entre policiais e traficantes durante a operação. O objetivo é garantir a segurança dos cidadãos e combater de forma eficaz o crime organizado no país.
