RJ: Nova lei garante direito de visitação a crianças e adolescentes com pais internados

Uma nova lei sancionada esta semana assegura o direito de crianças e adolescentes visitarem seus pais internados em instituições de saúde. A legislação, que entra em vigor 180 dias após sua publicação na última segunda-feira (5), faz parte das medidas de humanização do Sistema Único de Saúde (SUS).

A visitação, agora assegurada por lei, é uma das ações previstas pela Política Nacional de Humanização do SUS. Em nota, o Ministério da Saúde destacou que a medida tem como objetivo ampliar o acesso dos pacientes ao seu ciclo social durante a internação, além de garantir que os laços familiares sejam mantidos mesmo em momentos de tratamento e recuperação.

A iniciativa reflete o compromisso de proporcionar um ambiente mais acolhedor e humanizado nas unidades de saúde, reconhecendo a importância do apoio familiar no processo de cura e bem-estar dos pacientes.

“O direito de receber pessoas conhecidas e familiares, bem como de ter um acompanhante, concretiza o conceito da clínica ampliada e torna as visitações parte do tratamento”, destacou o ministério.
