RJ: Operação policial no Complexo de Israel suspende aulas em 17 escolas da região

Operação da Polícia Militar no Complexo de Israel, na Zona Norte do Rio de Janeiro, levou à suspensão das aulas em 17 escolas nesta quinta-feira (12). A ação, que conta com o apoio do Batalhão de Polícia de Choque, tem como objetivo combater o roubo de cargas e veículos, além de impedir a expansão territorial de um grupo criminoso que atua na área.

Entre as unidades afetadas, estão 3 escolas municipais nas comunidades Cinco Bocas e Pica-Pau, 4 em Parada de Lucas e Vigário Geral, e 8 na Cidade Alta. Uma escola da rede estadual também interrompeu suas atividades. Além das escolas, clínicas da família na região suspenderam atividades externas por conta da operação.

Até as 11h06, a operação ainda estava em andamento. A Polícia Militar apreendeu um fuzil e munição, mas não houve prisões até o momento.
