Sargento da PM é baleado durante tentativa de assalto em São Gonçalo

Um sargento da Polícia Militar foi baleado na manhã deste sábado (15) durante uma tentativa de assalto em Tribobó, em São Gonçalo. O militar, identificado como sargento Muniz, é lotado no 12º BPM e estava de folga no momento da abordagem.
De acordo com o Hospital Estadual Alberto Torres (HEAT), o policial foi atingido no ombro e chegou consciente à unidade de saúde. Ele não corre risco de morte e permanece em observação, passando por exames complementares para verificar possíveis lesões internas.
As primeiras informações indicam que o sargento foi surpreendido por criminosos armados que tentaram realizar o assalto. Ainda não há confirmação sobre eventual confronto ou reação do policial durante a ação. Autoridades investigam o caso.
